Dr. Marcia Schaefer

Life creates adventures one could never possibly understand, and my journey is certainly one of them. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, life decided to throw the ultimate curveball into my life that led me to more purpose, vision, and potential I could ever envision for myself. My education, intuition, and desire for more out of life led my journey back to health, and created the foundation for the success I continue to build in practice.

My experiences as a first generation chiropractor led me to ask a lot of questions, and that curiosity has served me well.  Those questions led me to become an Instructor for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in 2015, teaching the Parental Health and Epigenetics course. I find that my desire to honor the best of both worlds, and my deep respect for both plants and medicine, have led me to the evidence-informed protocols I use in practice today, which are a foundational component of The Schaefer Protocol.

With a desire to understand and research what creates health in a society, and a strong desire to empower, educate and inspire my community and profession, I created The Schaefer Protocol, an evidence informed protocol for optimal epigenetic health expression. This is responsible for 170 babies in my clinic alone, not to mention all of the practitioners I train and certify in this work that also have babies due to this protocol.

What I did to save my own life in 2010 turned out to be the catalyst to create so much health, life and longevity in my community. I’m passionate about changing the tides in the reproductive world, because there’s so much more to becoming pregnant than just having a child. Our children are our future, and as Desmond Tutu said, “We can’t keep pulling people out of the water, we need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”

My wonderful husband and two children are the light of my life, and they will be by my side as we open a healthcare campus that’s the first of its kind, including a birth center, healthcare center, and children’s academy, that will be a foundation of providing epigenetic research, protocols and education so that we can optimize health, healing and optimal life expression.
